I stopped by Randy Brewer's campaign headquarters tonight and found an unexpected guest in the person of John Mizner, the chairman of the County Republican party. Mizner made Brewer, a write-in candidate, his first stop on his tour of local campaign parties tonight.

Mizner said he would not rule out a third-party run by Brewer should he fall short. Brewer isn't yet sure where he will end up tonight. Even though he trails Republican candidate Christine Pontoriero in the bid to fill the state legislature seat vacated by Linda Bebko-Jones, Brewer says he is still not sure which way the race will end up.

Brewer faced an uphill battle, since he was not on the ballot. But he appears to have gained considerable support among voters.
