A reader this morning correctly pointed out that Erie should play a key role in the upcoming midterm elections. Unlike the recent primary, which offered few real choices for voters, the November election offers contested races for Governor, Senate and Congress.
I'm curious to hear from you about how you'd like to see the races covered on GoErie.com.
Will you be looking at locally generated blogs? Would you like a tool that shows where the candidates stand on key issues? Is there something you've seen elsewhere that you think would work here?
Please feel free to share your thoughts on the comment board. I can't promise that we'll use every suggestion. But you could offer us an idea that will help us cover the races as they move forward.
In the meantime, here's how to do some early research on the candidates by checking out their campaign Web sites.
