Bringing up the rear

Here's another troubling sign for Erie's economy.

A new state economic report shows the number of jobs statewide is at a 16-year high, according to the Associated Press.

But that good news does not trickle down to Erie.

During the past 12 months, Erie is the only city in the state that has lost jobs.

Erie had 133,700 jobs in June, down 1,300 from a year ago.
