Looking for a Racine-Erie connection

A few Inside Erie readers wrote me a couple of weeks ago to bring my attention to a recent New York Times story on Racine, Wisc.

You can find my earlier post on the topic here.

It turns out one of my colleagues, Liz Allen, is making a trip to Racine in August and hopes to scout around to see if she can write a piece for the Erie Times-News about Racine's efforts to revitalize its economy.

Here's where you come in. Liz would like to speak with some former Erie residents who have made the move to Racine. If you know of anyone -- or if that description fits you -- please feel free to pass it along to me or Liz. Her e-mail is liz.allen@timesnews.com.

You can also leave a comment on the blog and we'll contact you directly.
