How was your experience at CelebrateErie?

I went to CelebrateErie twice this weekend and had two entirely different experiences.

On Friday night, the event was a blast. Sure, you had a big-name draw in the Beach Boys (or as one reader put it, Mike Love and the Imposters). But the event was a great time no matter who was on stage. There were a ton of people enjoying themselves on a nice night in downtown Erie.

I took my family there on Sunday afternoon and had a different experience. The weather -- and the people -- were glum. The event felt lifeless.

Was it just me, or was CelebrateErie a good time at night and a drag during the day?

I'm interested to hear from those who went out to the event to get a better review on the festival.
