Looking for some good vets

I received this generous note from former Erieite Pamela Phasey Jimenez.

If you are a veteran -- or if you know a veteran -- I suggest you give it a read:

"I have always said that I own property in PA. Actually, it is two burial plots at Erie Memorial Gardens. Illness makes it impossible for me to go to Erie, so if I can't go there in life, I really do not want to go there in death. Plus the plane trip would be so-o-o expensive.

"I happen to be a disabled Vietnam Veteran, so I can be buried anywhere in the continental US. The fact that I have lived in California for more than 20 years makes me feel like a native. So I am making arrangements to be interred here. You have written many things about our Veterans returning from the Middle East, regretfully in body bags.

"What I would like to do is donate those plots to a couple of needy vets. Is there a way you could facilitate this or could you connect me with the right party to help me do this.

"I would appreciate any help you can give me."

I'd like to help Pamela find a pair of veterans who would like to take her up on her offer. Anyone who would like to talk to Pamela about her offer can feel free to contact me -- or leave a comment.
