Are you ready for some politics?

Do have more on your mind tonight than Monday Night Football?

If politics is your sport of choice, you might want to check out a political forum for the Democratic Congressional candidates in the 3rd District. The forum starts at 7 p.m. at Raphael’s Tavern, 363 W. Eighth St.

In 30-minute intervals, the four Democratic candidates will introduce themselves and answer questions from members of the Lake Erie Alliance for Democracy.

Here is the schedule: Erie County Councilman Kyle Foust, 7 p.m.; Kathy Dahlkemper, director of the Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier Park, 7:30 p.m.; Erie lawyer Tom Myers, 8 p.m.; and Mike Waltner, program coordinator for the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, 8:30 p.m.

The candidates got the questions in advance, so they won’t be a surprise.
