Delegate count

By the way, for those who like to keep score at home, a Democrat needs at least 2,025 delegates to secure the party's nomination.

The Republican winner needs to get a minimum of 1,191 delegates.

The impact of Super Tuesday is huge, with 1,678 delegates at stake on the Democratic side and 1,081 in play on the GOP side.
