Well, this is it.
The Super Bowl is history and now Super Tuesday is here.
Today, 24 states are holding primaries, caucuses or conventions as the presidential nominating process captures the nation’s attention, or at least it should.
The experts say John McCain could grab command of the Republican race today, while Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton could very well split the states today.
With so many states in play, this is the closest event yet to a national primary.
Photographer Janet Campbell and I are going to New York state today to capture the mood and opinions of the voters. I’ll report back later on what we found.
One bad sign already — the rain this morning could hold down turnout.
