Crowd becoming rowdier

The stage is still empty, but the crowd is still occasionally breaking out in applause and cheering.

Someone just started the standard "slow clap" and it caught on.

People right now are milling around on the floor or sitting in their seat, if they have one. Several people are taking pictures of the empty stage, the crowd and the media bullpen.

The sound track is on repeat -- "American Girl" is playing again.
