On Obama

Clinton spoke briefly on the rhetoric of his wife's opponent, saying that while he claims he can change America, he doesn't have the track record of change.

He said his wife has that experience.

He shared a number of anecdotes about his wife as a champion for abused and disabled children while in law school, as a practicing lawyer and as first lady.

"Hillary led our efforts to double adoptions for children coming out of foster homes," he said, adding that she also championed health care for children as first lady.
