President Clinton will campaign here

As I reported earlier today on GoErie.com, President Bill Clinton will campaign on behalf of his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, in Erie on Wednesday.

Details are still being worked out, but the venue is tentatively scheduled as the East High School gym at noon.

Erie lawyer Ian Murray, a superdelegate who’s supporting Clinton in the April 22 primary, said an advance team was in Erie this weekend scouting locations.

With our weather this weekend, that advance team must have questioned their whereabouts. After all, the Alaska caucuses were on Feb. 5.

Let me know what you think about the ex-president coming to Erie.
