A few supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton are starting to gather now at the Ringside Restaurant in Millcreek to watch the returns from Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Not much is happening yet, but I talked to co-owner Kathryn Grimaldi (Lou Bizzarro is the other owner) there about what should be an exciting night.
"We're watching the results, we're hoping for the best and I really hope everything works out beautifully for her,'' said Grimaldi, a Millcreek resident and a member of the Democratic State Committee.
Grimaldi showed off a framed picture on the wall of Clinton, when she stumped for Bill Clinton in 1992 at the restaurant. In the photo are Hillary Clinton, Grimaldi, Bizzarro and Erie superdelegate Ian Murray.
The walls are nonpartisan, however. They contain framed photographs of both Democratic and Republican politicians.
