"We are the people who are looking to make tomorrow better than today," she said. "And that's what I'll do if I'm given the great honor of becoming the next president of the United States.
The crowd cheered.
Clinton shifted her focus to the economy and working so that everyone can have the "American Dream."
This has been a theme for Clinton on her Pennsylvania tour – this session, at least, is titled “Solution for the Pennsylvania Economy.”
The campaign has said it's the most important issue facing voters today.
Monday, at an economic round table in a Harrisburg diner, Clinton said that President George W. Bush's efforts to boost the economy are too little, too late, CBS News' Fernando Suarez wrote. Nothing now can hide the fact that, "our housing and credit markets are in crisis,” she said Monday.
