Hillary Clinton accepts the applause of about 2,500 people at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center at Mercyhurst College in Erie on April 1. At left is Tim Knecht, president of the Mercyhurst College Democrats. JANET B. CAMPBELL/Erie Times-News

Hillary Clinton was just announced to the crowd with Gov. Ed Rendell to the theme from "Rocky."

Rendell is at the mic, but it is almost impossible to hear was he is saying over the crowd.
