Clinton: Renewing the economy is the new "space race"

Clinton said she would help to create new jobs if she were elected president.

She referenced a recent event at a former USX Steel Mill in Bucks County that has been repurposed to new industries and employs hundreds of people.

She said that the creation of jobs is possible across America.

"What we need is a president with a plan," she said.

She said what this generation needs is a challenge to meet, a push forward to innovate the American economy -- and compared that challenge to the space race.
