Health care

Clinton said that making sure that every American has access to health care is one of her personal passions.

She told the story of an uninsured woman in Ohio who died after she couldn't afford proper prenatal care for her or her unborn child. The woman couldn't afford a $100 check up and ultimately died from a complication of the pregnancy.

"How can it be in the richest of all countries on earth, that a young woman and her baby should die?" she said.

She called a lack of quality, affordable health care immoral and said it doesn't make any economic sense.
