If you thought security was tight when Bill Clinton came to town...

We've just been let back into the Mercyhurst Athletic Center after an hour-and-a-half sweep of the building.

Here's a list of the security measures we in the media had to go through:

-- Complete sweep of the building by the Secret Service.

-- Bomb-sniffing dogs went over all of the television news trucks parked nearby

-- The Secret Service checked us all with metal detector wands

-- We all had to provide media credentials and sign in

-- We are all wearing big, brightly-colored press passes

It's a noticeable difference from Bill Clinton's visit to East High School last month, where security measures -- for the media, at least -- weren't as thorough.

No word yet on what kind of security measures the general public has to pass through.
