Murray still supporting Clinton

There was speculation today about Erie lawyer Ian Murray's absence from Hillary Rodham Clinton's rally.

Was Murray, a superdelegate committed to Clinton in the state's primary, switching his allegiance to Barack Obama?

Murray said he is still committed to Clinton.

The reason for his absence?

Murray said he had a previously scheduled appointment for sleep apnea that required an overnight stay. His wife, Betsy Murray, an elected state committeewoman, attended the rally and saw Clinton before her speech, Ian Murray said.

Ian Murray said Clinton campaign officials from Pennsylvania called him before the rally and he assured them that he was still on board.

Better not think about it too long or he may not vote for either one.
