Rendell brings up the 1990s

One of Rendell's talking points in his brief introduction was the 1990s.

"Hillary always says, 'What part of the '90s didn't you like? The peace or the prosperity?'" he said.

We heard a similar line of rhetoric from Bill Clinton when he visited Erie on March 12 – and it’s a common theme in the Clinton campaign.

Some writers I’ve read over the last few weeks have said that part of Hillary Clinton’s success with blue-collar workers is based on fond memories of prosperity in the 90s.

It makes sense for Hillary Clinton to align herself with those thoughts.
