Over the last ten minutes, people have started to take their seats at the rally.
The room is about three-quarters full, and the crowd looks like a mix of ages and job positions -- from young white-collar workers to older blue-collar workers. The group is talking fairly quietly,
So far, most of the open seats are still behind the stage, and people here seem hesitant to take any seat featured on camera. The exception is a man with a ponytail and long beard. Who, still wearing his safety goggles on his head, walked immediately to a spot on the steps at the front of the Evolution Locomotive.
Meanwhile, Sen. McCain and the press pool are driving toward the facility on Interstate 90 for a tour of the plant.
