A group of four people, holding signs calling for the end of the Iraq war, have gathered near the Franklin Avenue gate here at GE Transportation.

The group, from the Erie Peace Initiative, was led by Vietnam War veteran Robert Johnson, who served in the Marine Corps from 1966-68,

"I think that it's OK that McCain is here, but I don't like his stance on the war," Johnson said. "If we elect him it will be four more years of Bush. He was in Vietnam, he should know better."
