Is Sen. John McCain losing some of his bounce in the polls from the GOP convention and his selection of running mate Sarah Palin?
Gallup and some local political analysts seem to think so.
Sen. Barack Obama now has a lead of 4 percentage points -- 48 percent for Obama and 44 percent for McCain, according to Gallup's daily tracking poll.
USA Today reported that Obama led by 2 points on Wednesday. McCain had a lead of as much as 5 points after the Democratic and Republican parties' political conventions, the paper reported.
