McCain joins Palin on stage

Sarah Palin, who will be the first woman GOP vice presidential nominee, wrapped up her speech with this closer: "For a season, a gifted speaker can inspire with his words. But for a lifetime, John McCain has inspired with his deeds.''

"Join our cause and help America elect a great man as the next president of the United States. Thank you and God bless America,'' she said.

Based on their beaming smiles, Cindy McCain and Rudy Giuliani were thrilled with the speech.
The CNN analysts said she hit a home run.

John McCain came on stage to greet Palin and her family.

"Don't you think we made the right choice for the next vice president of the United States? And what a beautiful family,'' McCain said.

That's all the GOP presidential nominee-in-waiting said tonight. He'll do his speaking tomorrow night during his acceptance speech.

So what did you think of Palin's speech? Did McCain make the right choice for VP?

I'll post your comments.
