McCain, Obama tied in Nevada

Nevada, long a Republican presidential stronghold, is now a swing state.

A Suffolk University presidential poll of 600 likely voters in Nevada shows Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama dead-even, both with 46 percent of the vote.

Nevada has voted Republican in eight of the last 10 presidential elections.

The poll suggested McCain might have been hurt by Wall Street financial upheaval

Asked which presidential party deserved blame for the Wall Street woes, 41 percent said Republicans, 16 percent said Democrats, 27 percent said neither party, and 16 percent were undecided.
