Tell us what you think before the first debate

Here's a reminder if you want a chance to weigh in on the first presidential debate Friday night.

The election team at the Erie Times-News and GoErie.com want your help in shaping our analysis of the debate about foreign policy and national security issues from 9 to 10:30 p.m.

What would you like to hear from Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama? What issues could influence your vote?

Fifteen minutes after the debate, your questions and concerns could be addressed during a live streaming video program on our Web site.

Submit you questions in advance, so that we can use some of them on the program and find out whether the candidates talked about what's important to you.

Managing Editor Pat Howard, veteran reporter Kevin Flowers and I will be on the team.
