Debate watch party tonight

The Barack Obama campaign and its Women for Obama committee will host a vice-presidential debate watch party tonight at the local Obama headquarters, 25 E. 10th St.

Erie City Councilwoman Rubye Jenkins-Husband, a supporter of the Obama-Joe Biden ticket, will greet supporters starting at 8:30 p.m., prior to the debate's 9 p.m. start.

The debate between Biden and Sarah Palin will cover issues both at home and abroad.
