Palin tickets going

Supporters of the Republican presidential ticket of John McCain and Sarah Palin braved cold temperatures this morning while they waited in line for free tickets to Palin's campaign rally in Erie on Thursday afternoon.

They lined up inside and outside the GOP headquarters at Union Station, West 14th and Sassafras Streets. Tickets also were being distributed at Republican headquarters in Meadville and Warren.

If their enthusiasm is any indication, Palin's rally at the Bayfront Convention Center should provide quite the political buzz with only a few days before Tuesday's election.

At the Erie office, GOP officials said that 3,000 to 4,000 tickets were distributed this morning. About 2,000 tickets remained just before noon.

You must have a ticket to enter the rally, which starts at 3:15 p.m. The doors will open at 1:15 p.m.

Smitty:

Most of my friends are Democrats and voted for Hillary in the Primary. I voted for Hillary in the Primary. When she lost, I didn't think I was going to vote for Obama, later I came around and decided to. But then I learned more about Obama. Frankly, I just don't trust him at all. I watched him tonight and I still don't trust him. Just the same old same old. And there are a number of other reasons why I don't. But the clincher for me was when I found out about his Marxist viewpoints and his connections to other radicals, the press doesn't want us to know. The connection that concerns me the most is his connection to a friend of his named Raila Odinga, a radical Marxist from Africa. Its just too much to explain here, but here is a link to a website that pretty much explains it in detail. The title of the article is Barack Obama & Raila Odinga - Just Another Terrorist From The Hood - Link: http://www.thexreport.com
