Looks like Canadian troubadour Gordon Lightfoot will return to Erie for a Warner Theatre concert on June 22.
Pollstar lists an Erie date for Lightfoot on its web, and a civic center executive confirmed the show will happen. Ticket prices and the on-sale date will be announced later. This will be Lighfoot's first Erie show in eight years.
Chautauqua Institution has disclosed another show -- rocker Kenny Loggins, who'll perform on July 25. That leaves just two more amphitheater specials to be announced. All Chautauqua tickets go on sale April 1 at ciweb.org.
Erie filmmaker John C. Lyons will debut his latest feature, "Schism," on April 17-18 at 8 p.m. at the Louis C. Cole Auditorium in Edinboro. "Schism," two years in the making, is a drama about one man's descent into Alzheimer's dementia. The 50-day production was shot in several Erie-area locations, including Brevillier Village.
Members of the cast and crew will attend both showings and be available for Q&A sessions.
Tickets are $5 and they are available at www.edinborotickets.com and by phone at 732-1048.
Attention Wilco fans: They're the musical guest for "Saturday Night Live" tomorrow. "Juno" star Ellen Page will host.
