3 Doors Down to Pittsburgh; Tony Krasinski returns

3 Doors Down, Hinder, and Finger Eleven will team up Sept. 7 at Post-Gazette Pavilion near Pittsburgh.
Tickets will go on sale on May 31 at Ticketmaster.

Don't know if you've seen it but you have to love the new Weezer video for "Pork & Beans," which features all sorts of notorious YouTube "celebrities." The song is also as catchy as anything they've ever done and bodes well for the next "Weezer" CD on June 3.

Associated Press reports that Madonna will travel to Traverse City, Mich. on Aug. 2 to attend a screening of her film "I Am Because We Are." She's a fan of Michael Moore, and Moore is the organizer of the film festival that takes place in her home state. The film shows the crippling effects of poverty in southern Africa, and the toll that AIDS is taking. Madonna, who adopted an African child, produced the movie and also narrates it.

Tony Krasinski, an Erie music legend who played with the Bedrocks, then the Shrugs, is joining another band. He'll become a part of Joe Rockhead, which also features his brother Dave on guitar, as well as his cousin Rick. Tony will play bass in the band that plays classic rock by Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Kansas, and more. The group also includes veteran Erie musician Jack Campbell.
Tony Krasinski's first gig with Joe Rockhead will be June 6 at Scooters.
