Good news; Madonna and Tina Turner are touring. Bad news: They don't play anywhere around here, except for Toronto. Madonna plays the Air Canada Centre on Oct. 18; Tina checks in there Nov. 13.
We also have no area dates for tours by My Morning Jacket, Sweet, the John Mellencamp/Lucinda Williams tour, or Lynryd Skynyrd/Kid Rock co-headling tour. Seems like more and more big tours skip the tri-state region.
Tony Bennett will playan intimate concert at the University of Buffalo's Center for the Arts on Dec. 12. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House. They go on sale May 19 at Ticketmaster.
