AC/DC adds Cleveland show; no Zep tour

Live Nation today confirmed a Jan. 5 concert with AC/DC at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

That's the good news. The bad: Reserved tickets are $91.50. They go on sale Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster outlets, including ticketmaster.com.

Earlier rumors about Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band playing halftime at the Super Bowl were confirmed on Monday.

The group will play the title game on Feb. 1 in Tampa Bay, Fla.

London, England's the Sun tabloid reported last week that Robert Plant would join Led Zeppelin for a world tour in 2009. Like a lot of tabloid reports that was wrong.
Plant has categorically denied he'll rock and roll withn Zeppelin. He posted on his web site that he "has no intention whatsoever of touring with anyone for at least the next two years."

Tickets are on sale now for "Boom a Ring," a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus spectacular that'll take over Tullio Arena for six shows from Oct.30-Nov. 2.
Tickets are $17 and $11, with a limited amount of VIP seats available. This event also includes the free all-access pre-show, where you can mingle with performers and catch them in action an hour before the show starts.

For ticket details, call 452-4857.
