Beastie Boys, more in Youngstown

Beastie Boys will bring their star-studded tour designed to get out the vote (they support Barack Obama) to Youngstown, Ohio's, Chevrolet Centre on Oct. 29.
Special guests include Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, and Norah Jones.
Tickets will go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster.

Too bad we couldn't swing that show into Erie. But ever since Chevrolet Centre was built -- and Erie added an amusement tax -- plenty of shows that might have played here have instead gone to Youngstown, including Tool. Of course, Ohio may be even more up for grabs in the presidentail election than Pennsylvania -- another reason the show will play there, instead.
