Live Nation announced late Friday it's bringing the New Kids on the Block reunion tour to Erie's Tullio Arena on March 22 at 7 p.m..
Tickets will be $65, $47.50, and $27.50. They go on sale Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Tullio Arena box office, Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 452-4857 or 456-7070.
The lineup includes all five members: Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Jon Knight.
New Kids were one of the most popular boy bands in the late 1980s and 1990s, paving the way for Backstreet Boys, N Sync and more. They broke up in 1994 but released "The Block" last fall and embarked on a successful tour that included a stop at Cleveland's 20,000-plus seat Quicken Loans Arena.
On that first leg, they played hits like "Hangin' Tough," "Step by Step" and "Right Stuff," along with new songs from "The Block."
Now they're headed to Erie
Don't forget, Jerry Seinfeld also returns to Erie on Feb. 19 at the Warner Theatre.. Those tickets go on sale Jan. 23. Tickets for Lewis Black's March 29 show at the Warner went on sale today (Jan. 16).
Meanwhile, HSBC Arena in Buffalo has confirmed the Dead will play there on April 21. Tickets are $96.50 and $56.50 and go on sale Jan. 24 at Tickets.com.
