Phish confirmed; War of Ages video shoot

That Phish show for June 18 at Post-Gazette Pavilion near Pittsburgh is now confirmed with a Jan. 30 on-sale date.
Remember that tickets will be available through livenation.com, and not Ticketmaster. Those with credit cards should probably enter their information early so you can buy the tickets quicker. You don't want to get bogged down by entering all the info the first time. This show, you know, will sell out quickly.

War of Ages will shoot a video for "All Consuming Fire" on Feb. 7 at Forward Hall. It'll be done as a live video, so the band hopes to pack the place with rabid, excited fans.

"We want this video to show our appreciation to all of you. If it wasn't for your dedication, we would'nt be where we are today, so thank you very much," the band said in a statement.

Admission will be free to the shoot. For more details, visit myspace.com/warofages.

HBO will televise Barack Obama's inaugural kickoff ceremonies at the Lincoln Memorial on Jan. 18, says Variety magazine. No performers have been announced yet but names such as Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, Beyonce, and Stevie Wonder are circulating about.

HBO says it will make the 90-minute event open to all those with cable or satellite. In other words, you needn't be an HBO subscriber to see the fete. Details should arrive soon as to who will be playing.
