As expected, Phish will headline the Bonnaroo music festival set for June 11-14 in Manchester, Tenn.
The event released its schedule today and it's positively loaded. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will also perforrm; it's their only festival date for the summer. Nine Inch Nails, the Beastie Boys, Elvis Costello, David Byrne, Wilco, Snoop Dogg, Ben Harper, TV on the Radio, Govt' Mule, and Erykah Badu are also in the lineup, which is perhaps the most diverse one yet.
Other performers include Al Green, Andrew Bird, Decemberists, Bon Iver, Galactic, Lucinda Williams, Animal Collective, Gomez, Santogold, Ting Tings, Robyn Hitchcock, King Sunny Ade, Tift Merritt, Neko Case, Girl Talk, moe, MGMT, Merle Haggard, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mars Volta, Paul Oakenfeld, Jenny Lewis, Grace Potter and the Noctournals, Of Montreal, Okkervil River, Grizzly Bear, and Zac Brown Band, plus dozens more.
Tickets for the event will go on sale this Saturday at Bonnaroo.com. To make the $250 ticket price a bit easier to swallow, Bonnaroo will offer an installment plan option with five $50 pavements.
