Friday's SeaWolves notes

-- New Hampshire began Friday with the Eastern League’s worst record. It should be little surprise that the Fisher Cats also have the league’s worst pitching staff.
New Hampshire’s collective earned run average was 5.72 before the first pitch Friday at Uht Park. Erie’s ERA was 4.66, eighth in the league.

-- Right-handed reliever Angel Castro has been sent back to Class A Lakeland. In six games for Erie, Castro was 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA and one save.
Castro began the season with Lakeland, where he was 2-1 with a 2.42 ERA and four saves.

-- The ‘Wolves will hold their second fireworks night of the season after Saturday’s game against New Hampshire. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free miniature American flag.
Erie also has fireworks scheduled after its games on July 3 (vs. Akron), July 26 (vs. Bowie), Aug. 16 (vs. Connecticut) and Aug. 30 (vs. Akron).
