SeaWolves' Ramirez to miss two games this weekend

The SeaWolves will be without left fielder Wilkin Ramirez for two games this weekend during the club’s four-game home series against the Altoona Curve at Jerry Uht Park.
Ramirez, 22, will play for the World Team in Sunday’s Futures All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium.
ESPN2 will televise the game live at 12:30 p.m. Ramirez will fly to New York on Saturday and miss Erie’s games against Altoona on Saturday and Sunday. He is expected to rejoin the SeaWolves on Monday, when Erie hosts Altoona in the final game of their series before the Eastern League All-Star break.
Ramirez is among four SeaWolves selected to play for the Southern Division in the July 16 Eastern League All-Star Game in Manchester, N.H.
