Fantasy challenge

The players have been selected, all that's remaining is the draft. Find out the top players in our draft next week.

David Garrard

In a more stunning development, the Jaguars named David Garrard their starting QB.
Byron Leftwich, the former starter, was released by the team Saturday.
You shouldn't have been looking at Leftwich as a starter anyway, unless you needed to start three QBs in a fantasy league.
I like Garrard better than Leftwich, and the recent move means there shouldn't be a QB shuffle if Garrard gets off to a slow start.
Consider Garrard a second or third QB on your fantasy roster.

Week 3 recap

It was a rough weekend. First, I went up against Donovan McNabb in three leagues. The results were not pretty.

Now the big news.

Steven Jackson, the overall No. 2 pick in nearly every league, will miss Week 4 with a groin injury. Brian Leonard will replace him. Leonard is worth of a waiver pick this week and could be a No. 3 back this week, especially with the return of the bye weeks. My main concern is if Jackson couldn't run behind the Rams' offensive line, then I wouldn't expect Leonard to have too much success.

Also, late Monday, news broke that Deuce McAllister reportedly has a torn ACL and will miss the season. The Saints will perform an MRI to confirm the injury, but if it's true, it's a big setback for New Orleans. Reggie Bush should see more carries, which only could increase his value. Also, Aaron Stecker might be worth a shot if you need a RB.

Week 3 WRs

1. T.O. vs. Bears. Big day ahead.
2. Chad Johnson vs. Seahawks. What kind of TD celebration does he have planned?

4. Randy Moss vs. Bills. Looks great so far.
5. Torry Holt vs. Bucs. Since they can't run yet... throw it to Holt.

Week 4 rankings

QBs
1. Tom Brady vs. Bengals. Imagine what he could do against this D.

3. Tony Romo vs. Rams. Having a great year.
4. Donovan McNabb vs. Giants. Don't expect a repeat from last week.
5. Carson Palmer vs. Pats. Tough matchup.

8. Jay Cutler vs. Colts. I'm starting to like this guy.
9. Marc Bulger vs. Cowboys. I still remember the Boys having a rough time with Eli.

22. Julius Jones vs. Rams. Don't give up on him yet.
