The Erie BayHawks lost their preseason game Friday night to Fort Wayne, 94-75 at Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind.
The Mad Ants, who were an expansion D-League franchise last year, led 42-36 at halftime. Both teams are in the Central Division and will face each other in the season opener for both teams Nov. 28 at Fort Wayne.
First-round pick Erik Daniels, who was questionable for the game with thigh strains, led the BayHawks in scoring with 14 points.
Raheem Moss added 13 points while Geary Claxton and Taj McCullough each had 12 and 11 points, respectively.
