The Erie BayHawks will open training camp Saturday at Family First Sports Park. They're going at 10 in the morning so I'll have to get up a little earlier than normal, but it's all good.
Be back in time to check out some early college football before going back out there at 6 in the evening for the second session. Here's my Day 1 checklist.
1. How Erik Daniels looks, literally. He rocked the fro overseas. In terms of his game, to me, he was a glue guy in college at Kentucky. Not really a go-to guy.
Wonder if he'll take on go-to guy role for Erie. Here's some clips of him playing overseas.

2. Cliff Clinkscales and Jarvis Gunter were at the BayHawks' free agent tryouts in Erie last month. Gunter didn't really have anyone challenge him in the paint while Clinkscales basically did everything right, but put the ball in the basket.
Wonder how they'll do with better competition this time around?
3. Who is going to set the tone for training camp?
