Stephen Curry is ridiculous....

Who knows how he'll play at the next level, but right now, Stephen Curry is the best player in the country in my opinion.

A year after leading mid-major Davidson to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament before barely losing to eventual national champion Kansas, he comes out this year and puts up a career-high 44 points in a 4-point loss at No. 14-ranked Oklahoma.

He simply knows how to score. He's got every shot in the book, but I love his step back 3 over taller guys. He's even a little bigger now, but he's just so much fun to watch. I wouldn't mind if the guy took every shot in the game.

Now he did shoot below 50 percent (12-of-29) against the Sooners, but he hit so many clutch ones to keep Davidson in it. And at the free throw line?

He's like the Pointer Sisters. Automatic. That's from the 1980s people.

OK. OK. Had a flashback there, but on the night, Curry was 14-for-14 from the line. The ball doesn't even hit the rim half the time. On the year, he's 23-of-25.

Below are the highlights from the game. And before I go, mark this date down. Jan. 7. Davidson plays at No. 4-ranked Duke. Will Curry go for 50 in that one?

I'll be watching to find out. So should you.
