Filling the empty nest

My sister's son just went off to college and her daughter is preparing to move out into a house she's sharing with her cousin (my older nephew).

For the first time in 24 years my sister and brother-in-law are facing an empty nest.

So, they did what so many empty-nesters do and decided to add to the family. I'm not sure what they were thinking...signing up for nights and days of work, getting up in the middle of the night, dealing with incessant whining and potty training again.

Guess they just wanted another little one to cuddle and snuggle again.

Meet Stella.

Stella is a Welsh Corgi and.... it' unlikely she'll ever backtalk, refuse to eat dinner or require a college education.

Almost makes me want another little pup of my own (almost, but not quite).
