How to get your kid to behave in public

I frequently resort to begging, pleading and oftentimes, bribing, but....I know there have to be better ways.

I hope to find out in a class I signed up for at Hamot Health Connection on Thurs., Sept. 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. called "Tips for Getting Your Child to Behave in Public"

Debbie DeAngelo (a Her Times and ETN columnist) works at the Health Connection and told me they didn't have many folks signed up for the class yet, so I told her I'd try and drum up some participation.

The instructor is Virginia Bentz, PhD, and she is the author of "Quick Guide to Good Kids."

The class is just $5 to attend ($7 for couples). Call 877-6145 to register.

Please consider signing up because -- as anyone who's ever seen me with both of my daughters at the mall or at a restaurant can tell you -- I NEED this class.
