What it is: A television show — comedy

When, where: CBS -- Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. Or...if, like me, the time conflicts with getting the kids in bed, you can watch full episodes at www.cbs.com.
Perfect for lunch hour viewing -- but don't blame me if you spit Diet Coke all over your keyboard when you LOL.

What's it about: A recently divorced guy, his two kids and ex wife, Allison.

Why I like it: The scenes with Gary and his wife are hysterical. I think the writing is solid, and it makes me laugh.

Is it worth your time? I don't know that I'd make a point to watch it if it weren't on right after "The New Adventures of the Old Christine," but together, it's a solid hour of laugh-out-loud fun and you'll be hard-pressed to find many laughs on the other major network channels where "reality" TV, game shows and death-crime-murder-rape shows reign supreme.
