I tried it Tuesday: Slenda Flavors Blends

Tuesdays are "I Tried It Tuesdays" where I'll tell you about something I recently tried -- an item, a movie, an activity, etc.

Today's Topic: Splenda Flavor Blends for Coffee

Why: Beause I saw that the flavor sticks came in Hazelnut and I am hopelessly addicted to all things Hazelnut. Then I noticed the Slenda logo and turned to the nutrition facts to find there were ZERO -- zippo -- NO calories in the little tube-o'-flavoring.

What I tried: Um...Hazelnut, of course (though I was briefly tempted to break out of my shell and try the French Vanilla).

What it was like: Oh...good. So good. Nice flavor with no aftertaste.

Very convenient: This product is really convenient for two reasons: 1.) It contains both flavoring and sweetener, so you don't need to add anything else (I don't do cream/milk usually though) and, 2.) each serving comes in it's own compact little tube so it's easy to grab and toss in your purse to add to your coffee later.

Cost: $4 for a box of 30 great little on-the-go packets at area grocery stores.

Other flavors: French Vanilla and Mocha

Would I recommend them to a friend: Yes..they're convenient, inexpensive and turn regular coffee into gourmet coffee.
