Three things I'm loving this week:
1. ebags.com. My work bag is ripping -- no doubt from stuffing it full of salad bowls, files and fruit. Time for a new bag to schlep my stuff back and forth in, but it's not a decision to be made lightly as I'll be carrying it day in & day out for (hopefully) several years. ebags.com has, literally, hundreds to choose from.
2. Zits. Particularly, those big angry, ugly red ones that hurt. I have one right now on my forehead that I cannot possibly cover up with my hair since it parts on that side. I feel like I have a third eye, a blazing beacon...whonck, whonck, whonck.
3. Girl Scout Cookies. I was dreading the first big sale for my little Daisy scouts, but...these things practically sell themselves.
Three things I'm NOT loving this week:
1. Sick people. I'm leaving for a dream vacation soon and am terrified of the thought of a week in a very expensive sick bed vomiting from something other than too much sun and/or too much rum.
2. Procrastination. I used to be the kind of person who dived right into something I didn't want to do. I'd tackle it and be done with it. Now, I've become the kind of person who ignores it and hopes it will just go away...or someone else will do it. (Could have something to do with my Lazy Manifesto, eh?). Right now, I'm putting off: packing for vacation, editing a story I don't want to deal with, reading House to Home proofs and calling my sister to tell her I can't attend my nephew's party.
3. Single-digit temps. In the words of Yukon Cornelius in "Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer:" "Isn't a fit night out for man nor beast." Isn't a fit day either. Brrrr.....
