V-day crafts for kids

halloween%20-%20class2.jpg

I love to do crafty things with the kids, so I'm the first to volunteer to do the craft at all my daughters' school holiday parties.

If you ever find yourself the designated "crafty mom" -- be that at school, scouts, church or some other kid club, there is a wealth of information and ideas online.

Here are some sites that always have a few great ideas:

DLTK (don't ask me what it stands for...I don't know)

Kaboose.com

Enchanted learning

About.com

I found some unique, quick and easy classroom games, too.

You can also find fun stuff at Martha Stewart's site, Better Homes & Gardens and Family Fun Magazine, but...I find these three sites tedious to click through ...I hate that you can't see the crafts on the first page of the Family Fun site and I have to click and open every one (how annoying...there are only 60 minutes in a lunch hour!).
