PJW day one wrap

We're going to shut it down for tonight (and go to work on our stories for tomorrow's paper). We hope you've enjoyed the blog from the first day of the tournament. We'll be back tomorrow morning with a wrap-up from the second- and third-round consolations, followed by updates from the semis.
