i have known lamar williams for a long time and we grew up together in schools and in the streets, i am still proud of him, that he continued his journey, by helping kids and family members, i always like him and gave him respect, despite the problems and fights we had while on the streets, we both kept the respect level 100%, this is a person with a good heart and a good spiritual side, i remember when people in Erie, Pa would laugh and make fun of the way he would dress and fashions, but what they didnt really understand, was that he was preparing for stardom, that's right a shining star, thats what we called him, i had a different name for him, i would call l-mar, i remember when he lost his father, i think that he took it pretty rough, because his father and mother were the sweetest people i've ever known, this familty was the greatest, i tell people where i live at New Jersy and Philadelphia all the way down to Atlantic City and New York, that were i am from, we have a shining star, his name stands alone than others and he boxed Oscar Delehoya, they sometimes look at me like i'm crazy, but i know the truth, so i would like to say to my friends and family, that we have more than one shining star and his name is lamar, i wish him good luck in the future, i really beleive that lamar can change the old and young lives, so i will keep praying and when i visit, he will always be the LAMAR THE SHINING STAR PERIOD.
